NYSC Camp Requirements For Female And Male Corps Members



If you are a Nigerian graduate preparing to serve your father land in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Program, here are the complete list of documents and items required for the NYSC orientation camp participation. 

Here, we will list out all the NYSC orientation camp requirements which includes basic items needed for the 3-weeks camp as well as documents needed for a successful camp registration because the worst thing that can happen to you is to arrive at the NYSC Orientation camp and realise that your documents are not complete.

Therefore, we urge every prospective corps member to carefully read this post to understand what is required from them. Apart from the documents which are all compulsory, kindly note that you must not carry everything, just pick the important ones you need. 

In essence, things listed under documents category are very compulsory so with none of them, you will not be registered at the NYSC camp. And the items listed after documents are just essential category, that is to say not compulsory but needed for your personal comforts.

DOCUMENTS:

  • Call up letter (original + 3 photocopies)
  • Duly signed GREEN CARD (original + 3 photocopies)
  • School identity card (original + 3 photocopies front and back) you can photocopy all 3 front and back of the idcard on 1 a4 paper to save cost
  • Statement of result (original + 3 photocopies).
  • Passport photographs ( 6 to 8 copies).
  • File/clear bag (1)
  • Certificates/licenses (original + 3 copies for medical doctors and other medical students)
  • Medical certificate and, or medical report

STATIONARY:

  • Glue/gum
  • Paper/jotter
  • Pen
  • Permanent marker
  • Small stapler
  • Tippex

CLOTHINGS:

  • Coloured /sunday wears (2)
  • Plain white round neck t-shirts (3-6)
  • Plain white sneakers/tennis shoes (1)

  • White shorts/knickers (3-6)
  • White socks (3-6)

CASH:

  • (₦15,000 - ₦30,000) & atm card

  9. Admin please I'm married but I still used my father's surname to register because I haven't done newspaper change of name as at last year that I registered. Also my statement of result bears my father's surname... Hope it won't be an issue for me in camp?

  11. Good Morning Sir/ma please I want to ask a question. Please I'm having Issues on Arrangement of name. I once applied for that and Still The Name Is not arrange as that of my school certificate. Though the name is correct the spelling is correct but is not arrange instead of Teidi Wasiu Babatunde, Is giving me Babatunde Wasiu Teidi.
    Please sir/ma what must I do because I'm trying to do that second time is not showing re-arrangment correction on my portal anymore. I have seen my call up letter since last year what must I do please any advice
