What is NYSC Call Up letter? The NYSC call up letter is one of the most important document printed by graduates who have successfully registered on the NYSC portal and paid the necessary fee required to print it. The call up letter shows that a graduate has been finally called upon to serve their father land. 

How does the NYSC Call Up letter look like? The NYSC call up letter is a letter headed document with an expanded acronym of NYSC (National Youth Service Corp) boldly written at the top in green font colour. It contains certain vital details/information of a prospective corp member which they filled during their online registration, these details include;

• Their Full Name
• Call up number
• State of Origin
• Gender
• Institution
• Course of Study
• Date of graduation
• State of deployment
• Date of reporting to camp (Sometimes date might vary for different PCMs)
• Officer in charge
• Address of their orientation camp and
• Passport photograph of the PCM (At the top right corner)

It also contains NYSC watermark logo all over it in light brown colour, a unique barcode slightly above the center of the document followed by several guidelines and instructions that have been listed out by NYSC for PCMs to adhere to while preparing to go for their various orientation exercise.

I did not pay for my Call Up letter during online registration what should i do? As for those individuals who didn't pay for their call up letter during the NYSC online registration, they will not be able to print it out online. Infact they have to visit their various schools and collect it from there. 

Recall that we have warned in some of our previous posts that graduates registering for the NYSC programme should always pay for their call up letter online rather than go for the option of collecting it from their school thinking they are saving money. 

How do i print the NYSC Call Up letter? Printing of call up letter is not at all a difficult process, all you are required to do is login your dashboard through the official NYSC portal http://portal.nysc.org.ng and scroll down to where you will see "Print Call Up Letter". 

For those using mobile devices; Click on the "Print Call Up Letter" icon and download the PDF soft copy to your phone then proceed to a cyber cafe and print it out from your phone files. 

For those who don't have a browsing phone; proceed to the cafe direct, login to your dashboard on their system and print direct from the portal. 

Remember you are not allowed to laminate the call up letter document and it should be printed out coloured not black and white.
