NYSC GIVES DEADLINE DATE TO SAOs OF INSTITUTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF THEIR SENATE LIST HARD COPY The NYSC Management has recently released another circular which contains an actual date in which SAOs (Student Affairs Officers) of CPIs (Corps Producing Institutions) are to submit their approved senate results (Senate List) to the NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) Headquarters in Abuja.  The date given by NYSC for this submission is 21st June 2021 to 28th June 2021 of which Senate list upload which has already kicked off will continue until 27th June 2021. Recall that on one of our previous posts we explained the fact that for PCMs to be able to see their names/details on the NYSC senate list portal, their respective institutions must send the hard copy of their approved senate result or senate list to NYSC headquarters in Abuja for assessment and approval.  Here are the contents of what was written in the newly released circular: - I am directed to inform you that the submission of hard


With respect to the viral news that went around at the late hours of yesterday stating that the Federal Government has put in place a phase 4 lockdown as regards to COVID-19 outbreak, a recently released video has showed that the news was barely a rumour and there is no lockdown which was imposed by the FG as claimed. PCMs Fear For Orientation Camp Postponement As FG Announces Phase 4 Of COVID-19 Lockdown

Following the recent announcement and reintroduction of COVID-19 restrictions in all the 36 states across Nigeria, Prospective Corp Members belonging to the 2021 Batch A Stream 2 have started to panic as this new development might affect the date which has been scheduled for their orientation camp exercise.  The PCMs who have recently started making preparations for their forth coming Orientation exercise scheduled to tentatively kick off on 18th May 2021 received the shocking news together with well meaning Nigerians of a Phase (iv) COVID-19 Lockdown which will supposedly take effect from midnight Tuesday 11th May 2021 and this has brought about various opinions as regards to whether the NYSC Management will postpone their upcoming orientation exercise or not.
