NYSC 2025 BATCH 'B' PRE-MOBILIZATION WORKSHOP KICKS OFF (No Online Registration For Batch B)

The NYSC pre-mobilizattion workshop for 2025 Batch B orientation exercise has kicked off and is ongoing in Abuja.

For those that don't know what the pre-mobilization workshop is, it is a meeting/programme held in every batch of NYSC in which the DG would discuss with NYSC Officials and Staffs of institutions about the upcoming NYSC batch. 

Once this workshop kicks off then be certain that online registration date will likely be announced soonest.

From a live video feed we just listened to, shared by one of the participants in the workshop who is likely to be either an official in the NYSC system or a staff in one of the corps producing institutions (CPI), the DG of NYSC stated clearly in the video that they already have enough uploaded graduates in the senate list from previous batch which is enough to fill up 2025 Batch B. 

Hence the next time portal will be opened for senate list upload will likely be during 2025 Batch C as stated by the NYSC DG. This statement has been made during stream 1 but will likely apply to stream 2 aswell.

The above statement means that the only people that will be eligible to camp are most of the 60% PCMs that previously registered for NYSC and were not posted, i.e those PCMs that were carried over to 2025 Batch B from Batch A.

This also means that all the currently released internal senate list will be uploaded during 2025 Batch C. The DG also stated in the video that all these new development might lead to the creation of more streams in a particular batch, that is to say for example a particular Batch A can have stream 1, 2 & 3.

Regardless of the above, if there will be no fresh registration for this upcoming 2025 Batch B then we will update you in due course so make sure you are following us on whatsapp or facebook. See the video of DG speaking below.

NYSC RECOMMITS TO TECH-DRIVEN MOBILISATION PROCESS - DG

The Director General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu has said the Scheme would continue to deplore more ICT tools to enhance its mobilisation process.

He said the NYSC would also continue to train its mobilization officers on data verification, error resolution and emergency response, cybersecurity software training for staff handling sensitive data, among others.

He said this was necessary as the number of threats and attacks on the Scheme's mobilization system increased daily.

General Nafiu stated this today in his keynote address at the 2025 Batch 'B' Pre-Mobilization Workshop with the theme; "Strengthening the NYSC Mobilisation Process through Improved Technology and Collaboration with Stakeholders, held in Abuja.

He disclosed further that
reforming the NYSC mobilization process had become necessary in the present dispensation, because the society was evolving and the Scheme must adjust its strategies to match current realities.

"We at NYSC recognize that by leveraging technology, forging stronger partnerships, investing in infrastructure, and deploying relevant skills, we can boost efficiency, enhance the experience of both prospective and serving Corps Members, and maintain the Scheme’s role in national development.

I therefore urge all our partners and collaborating agencies, particularly the Corps-producing institutions, to speed up the process of technological update to an acceptable level that makes collaboration and partnership seamless and more functional.

Let us not betray that trust. Let us jointly commit to prioritizing integrity over expediency, innovating for efficiency, and collaborating for national progress.
We are on the threshold of transformation. With technology as our tool and collaboration as our compass, we will build a mobilization system that is secure, smart, and truly service-driven", General Nafiu said.

The Director General also said although the Scheme had attempted to update its mobilization process in line with changes in Nigeria’s educational policy and environment, it still faced several challenges, including; mismatched data from institutions, uploads of unqualified or part-time graduates, technical glitches that result in frustrating delays, attempts at falsification of records among others.

The Director, Corps Mobilization, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar said the workshop was an avenue for bringing the NYSC, Corps Producing Institutions and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and improve on the Scheme's mobilization efforts.

He said though the Scheme had made remarkable progress as a result of collaboration, but there was need to tackle fraudulent uploading of unqualified graduates.

"This process is vital for our nation's growth but it is fraught with challenges, especially with dishonest enrollments. We must therefore stay alert and be proactive", he said.

Alhaji Abubakar urged the participants to be diligent in their assignments with high integrity and ensure they upload accurate information of their prospective Members.

Representatives from the Federal Ministry of Education and National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) also attended the workshop.

2025 BATCH A STREAM 2 CAMP DATE FINALLY ANNOUNCED

An official date has finally been announced for the opening of NYSC 2025 Batch A Stream 2 Camp. The date for camp will open is 11th June 2025 and the management of NYSC made it known in their official social media handle. Below is the official update.

Update On Graduation List Portal With Inclusion Of 2025 Batch A

If you are reading this article you should have come across a recent update by the NYSC management which involves updating their graduation list portal by including 2025 Batch A.

This simply means that 2025 batch A PCMs are now eligible to check their names in the NYSC Graduation List Portal, that is only if their school has uploaded eligible list of graduates there.

By now i presume you should know the difference between senate list and graduation list, but incase you don't know their difference then CLICK HERE.

As for the online senate list, most of you PCMs will still not be able to see your details there yet and you will still be getting NO RECORD FOUND notification because your school has not submitted the hard copy senate list to NYSC headquarters in Abuja. 

Recall that its only when this hardcopy Senate list is submitted by an institution to NYSC headquarters, that their student's name will now appear on the Senate list portal when they check. Submission of hardcopy will commence on 7th April 2025 as earlier announced in the Official Circular, you can scroll down to see the circular.

Kindly stay connected with your school and NYSCBROADCAST to be updated as regards to when respective institutions submit their hard copies so their students can proceed for verification of names on the Senate list portal.

Upload Of Senate/Academic Board Approved List And Submission Of Hard Copies For NYSC 2025 Batch A Stream 1.

The NYSC management has finally announced an official date in which senate list upload will commence for 2025 Batch A Stream 1 as well as the date for submission of hard copies.

The information contained in the recently released timetable reads as follows; 

• Uploading of senate/academic board approved results for full/part-time graduates and revalidation lists by CPi(s) - 24th to 28th March 2025.

• Submission of hard copies of senate/academic board approved results for full/part-time graduates and revalidation lists by cpis - 7th to 11th April 2025.

From the above dates, it means that if you are with NYSC 2025 Batch A, you will start seeing your names in the Official NYSC senate list portal from 7th April 2025 when hardcopy submission commences, which is the same date portal will open for online registration.

2024 BATCH C TIME-TABLE SURFACES ONLINE

A time-table which contains the orientation camp date for NYSC 2024 Batch C Stream 1 has surfaced online. Although the time table is not clear enough due to the low phone quality of the Person who took the shot but if you look closely at where the red arrow is pointing you will see the date which shows 2024 Batch C Stream 1 orientation course; 23rd October to 12th November.

Although it is tentative and subject to change but this means that camp for 2024 Batch C Stream 1 will likely commence from 23rd October and will end 12th November unless there are adjustments made in the NYSC programme. See the time table below;
