Later the long awaited Call-Up letter for 2026 Batch A Stream 1 will be out. Before we proceed you should be aware that the official camp date for 2026 Batch A Stream 1 has been fixed and it will commence on 21st January 2026 if the date is not adjusted.
Moving ahead, if there has not been any official announcement by NYSC when call-up letter will be out, you can always know the date once camp date is revealed and the official camp date has already been announced as earlier stated.
In order to estimate the date call up letter will be out, kindly subtract 2 or 3 days from the date that NYSC fix for orientation camp of any particular NYSC Batch or Stream.
Do the mathematical estimation when camp date is officially announced and you can tell when call up letter will be out.
Infact based on previous batches before this 2026 Batch A Stream 1, it usually comes out on a sunday before camp date so lets expect the call up letter to come out on the sunday that falls before camp date which is 18th January 2026.
If it is not released on sunday then definitely expect it to be released on monday 19th January 2026 before camp date due to adjustment that might be made on postings. As for those who don't know what the NYSC call-up letter looks like and what is all about you can CLICK HERE.
Also analyzing from the previous Batches before 2026 Batch A, here is what we can as well tell you; Their call-up letter came out immediately after their Online Webinar Programme. Using all the analysis we have made i believe you can now deduce the date for printing of call up letter now that the camp date has been announced officially.

To avoid unnecessary mistakes, kindly take note of the below points:
Some tips on how to Package yourself to the Orientation camp.
All you need in printing your call up letter is to login your dashboard in the NYSC portal, you will see a highlighted link labelled PRINT CALL-UP or its equivalent. Click on the link and download the PDF format into your phone which you can later print in any cyber cafe by accessing the document in your your phone using a USB chord connected to your phone, or print out directly from your dashboard in any cyber cafe.
Print the Original copy twice and endeavor to make photocopies (at least 3). Also remember to make photocopies of the necessary documents needed for registration into the NYSC orientation camp because things can be quite expensive in the Mammi Market.
Rearrange your documents and crosscheck if anything is missing. The necessary documents you need to take with you include;
- Call-up Letter.
- Greencard.
- Original Certificate or Statement of result
- School ID-Card (Note that if you misplace your school id card, the Original certificate covers up for it).
Do not laminate any of your documents because NYSC officials warn against this. There might be need to sign or write something on a particular document and this is impossible if its laminated. Most laminated document are permanent and while trying to undo the lamination, a person can end up destroying the document. Below are the list of documents warned against lamination:
- Call-up letter.
- Greencard.
- tatement of result.
- Original School certificate.
- Transcript of result (For foreign trained graduates).
Kindly make sure your statement of result carries your school stamp and is not laminated (Officials warn against such). Put all these documents in a water resistant file and seal properly, do not also laminate your Green-card or Call-up letter.
Pack few luggage and don't give yourself unnecessary stress. Some basic things to pack should be your; white polos, white shorts, white tennis shoes, waist pouch, torchlight, mosquito net (trust me you will need these). Some camps are mosquito breeding ground especially during the rainy season), one or two casual wears, soap, anti-malaria drugs, bed sheets, detergent, cream, power bank, cash and ATM card, white socks, etc.
We might not be able to list all the items here hence, you can search our blog about all the relevant items needed for camp. You do not need too much loads because after camp all PCMs are usually given 3 weeks terminal leave from their Place of Primary Assignment which they are expected to go home and prepare for their primary assignment when they resume.
Find fellow prospective corp members that are posted to the same state with you. You can create a WhatsApp group and talk about when to leave and how to go about it. If anyone suits your schedule you both can meet up at a designated Bus stop and journey together, that is the purpose of creating the whatsapp group.
Be also mindful of wicked individuals who are ready to scam innocent PCMs by promising them means of transportation, before you engage in any payment with anyone for travel check well.
Once you get your callup letter you can as well indicate the state you are posted to in a particular whatsapp group you belong so as to meet up with individuals posted to same state. Check our Homepage to join our official NYSC whatsapp group if you don't belong to one.
Make sure to check your date of deployment very well to avoid mistakes. As for safety protocols, a lot of Corp members have gone due to road accident and the likes but this is not to scare you, most journeys are also fun, you just endeavor to pray before progressing on your travel to the NYSC orientation camp.
Remember to sign on the space provided for signature at the lower right-hand corner of your Greencard. Remember also to memorize or save your BVN number, this is very important.

A situation where by u declined camp in batch A stream 1 and you got move to stream 2 ......then you printed your call up later and still the state of deployment remained the same with same date as in stream one ....what are you going to do next??

Pls I need to clarify something. Why are some people having “You are in stream 2 you will be notified when to print your call up later” on their dashboard while some like me don’t have it.
