NYSC Online Registration Requirements For All Graduates

As the NYSC online registration is coming up or ongoing, it is very important for Propective Corps Members (PCMs) to get themselves acquainted to, or familiar with what they will expect during the forthcoming NYSC online registration. 

As such, we have detailed out (both in picture and words) every single parameter a PCM will be required to fill on their personal bio data page during the course of NYSC registration. 

The purpose of this is to enable PCMs have a stress free and easy going online registration because they will already be familiar with the details to fill and nothing will look new or strange to them.

Just like in the image above, here is a well detailed and explained written format of the NYSC registration form sample,  i.e the details a PCM will be requested to provide and fill. They are distributed into categories:

MILITARY PERSONNEL, PARAMILITARY AND NATIONAL AWARD HONOUR

- You will be asked if you are a serving member of the Nigerian Armed force (NAVY, NA or NAF) and served for a minimum of nine (9) months, tick either YES OR NO. 

- You will be asked if you are a serving member of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), tick either YES or NO

- You will be asked if you are a serving member of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), tick either YES or No

- You will be asked whether you are a National Awardee, tick either YES or NO

- You will be asked to list the Nigerian languages you can speak

- You will be asked to list the Nigerian states you have visited (Remember that this part is very essential to where you will be posted so list wisely. 

KITS SPECIFICATION (This is the area where you pick the size of your wears)

For small size

1. Length: 30 to 32
2. Chest: 32 to 35
3. Neck: 12 to 14

For medium size

1. Length: 32 to 33
2. Chest: 36 to 38
3. Neck: 14 to 15

For large size

1. Length: 35 to 36
2. Chest: 38 to 40
3. Neck: 15 to 16

For extra large size (X-Large)

1. Length: 36 to 38
2. Chest: 40 to 42
3. Neck: 16 to 17

For extra-extra large size (XX-Large)

1. Length: 38 to 40
2. Chest: 44 to 46
3. Neck: 18 to 20

A quick advise is that you shouldn't bother yourself so much about the kits specification area because NYSC will end up giving you any size of their choice in camp, all you have to do is find someone suitable with your size to exchange with if you are given over or undersize especially when it comes to the Jungle booth and Tennis Canvas. 

NYSC STATE SELECTION (ZONING) (selection of states is no longer available on the registration portal)

Just incase you are required to select states which is no longer available, PCMs will be required to select 4 states from the six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria which are;  North Central, North East, North West, South East, South West and South South. 

Below is a breakdown of how prospective corps members will be required to select a state each from the zones:

- One (1) state from the North Central Zone.

- One (1) state from either North East Zone or North West Zone.

- One (1) state from either South East Zone or South South Zone.

- One (1) state from the South West Zone. 

Here are the categories of states in Nigeria that belongs to each zone so remember to choose wisely. 

1. For the North Central Zone: Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Niger, Benue, Nassarawa, F.C.T Abuja. 

2. For the North East Zone: Borno, Bauchi, Adamawa, Gombe, Yobe, Taraba

3. For the North West Zone: Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, Jigawa

4. For the South East Zone: Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi

5. For the South West Zone: Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun

6. For the South South Zone: Akwaibom, Bayelsa, Crossriver, Rivers, Delta, Edo.
