The NYSC evaluation letter is a crucial document for Nigerian foreign-trained graduates which confirms that their institution and course are accredited by the government of the country where they studied. 

In this post i am going to enlighten you on all the basic things you need to know about the evaluation letter, as well as how and where to obtain it.

This particular letter is mandatory for graduates from institutions whose accreditation is in doubt, especially those in African countries like Ghana, Niger, Togo, and Benin Republic.

The evaluation letter serves as proof that the graduate's degree is recognized by the Nigerian government, meeting the necessary requirements for participation in the NYSC scheme. 

To obtain this letter, graduates need to provide specific documents, including their; 

  • Degree certificate. 
  • Transcript. 
  • O'Level result certificates.
  • International passport
  • Admission letter.

Here's A Step-by-step Guide To Getting The Nysc Evaluation Letter

1. Take required documents to the Federal Ministry of Education Abuja and submit your documents to the Ministry for processing.

2. Contact NYSC secretariat for assistance: If you encounter difficulties, reach out to the NYSC secretariat closest to you.

3. Alternative option contact your school: If direct processing through the Ministry is challenging, contact your school through email or call, as they can scan and send it to you. If you opt for direct processing through the ministry, there will likely be a fee involved.
