Note that NYSC is aware in the delay of call-up number for PCMs who has successfully registered. Kindly be patient as your call up number will be released in due time.
Good day beloved prospective corps members, in this post we are going to enlighten you on all you need to know about the very popular NYSC green card as well as give you detailed explanation and steps on how to print it successfully without issues.
WHAT IS THE NYSC GREEN CARD?
The NYSC Green Card also known as Green slip is actually not a card as the name implies, and it is not green in colour although certain green font colours are used in its design format.
The NYSC Green card is simply the coloured print-out slip (in white A4 paper) of a PCM NYSC online registration form which contains all the relevant details a PCM filled during the course of their registration online, gotten from the NYSC website.
This slip clarifies that a PCM have successfully completed their NYSC online registration for mobilization of a particular Batch or Stream and have also paid the necessary fees required.
All aspiring youth corpers (Prospective Corps Member) are required to print the Green Card after completing their online registration. The slip is needed for the manual registration at the NYSC orientation camp. Without this document, you will not be allowed to enter the camp gate, let alone register in the NYSC camp.
HOW DOES THE NYSC GREEN CARD LOOKS LIKE?
As we have stated above, the NYSC Green Card is a coloured print out slip. The slip will have the letter heading of the National Youth Service Corps, the NYSC logo, the NYSC motto, and address. The slip should also have watermark logo of the NYSC at the centre of the page.
Green Card will contain your personal details such as your:
- Full Name
- Call Up Number
- Date Of Birth
- State Of Origin
- Local Government Area
- Place Of Birth
- Marital Status
- Your Contact Details
- Your Educational Qualifications
- And any physical challenges, all these and few more will be indicated on the document.
At the right bottom of the page, there will be a space for PCM signature and date so sign it immediately after printing it out coloured. Remember not to laminate the NYSC Green card. See sample image below of NYSC Green Card:
If you have completed your online registration and have made all necessary payments, you can print your NYSC Green Card by scrolling down towards the bottom of your dashboard to the place where you will see PRINT-SLIP option beneath it, click on this option, Your Green card will preview and download, then save it in your phone as PDF and print later in any cafe. Print it on normal white A4 paper and dont use concord paper.
NOTE: If your call up number is not ready yet, you will not be able to print it, rather you will see a notification like Awaiting Call-up number.
Be reminded that if your call-up number is not ready yet no need to panic, for some PCMs it takes hours and for some others it even takes as long as 5 days to be ready so patience is all that is needed.
Still on the process of how to print the NYSC Green Card, for those Using PC (Personal Computer), look at the top right-hand corner of the page. You will see the print option sign and also a download sign (arrow facing down). Download and print.
After printing your National Youth Service Corps Green Card, check at the Down Right corner marked “Corps Member Signature & Date” sign in the space and take it along with you to camp.
You can photocopy about 3 copies in black and white and that should be after signing.

ReplyDeleteThe date of birth I registered during my jamb registration is highly difference with my original DOB, and I paid for the correction of the DOB, at the end asked to bring WAEC for the correction while I don't have it.

Jamb doesn't change date of birth anymore ...even after the whole process it won't still reflect ,just register with the one there before ,if not u will waste ur moni and time

ReplyDeleteIf you were rolled over from stream 2 to stream 2 or you were posted during stream 1 and skipped camp, you will receive a new call up letter in stream 2. Revalidation is Automatic

It will not stop you, print your green card after correction takes effect.. Usually takes some days
