Major Things All PCMs Should Note About 2021 Batch B Stream 2

HERE ARE SOME MAJOR INFORMATION EVERY PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBER SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE ONGOING STREAM 2 BATCH B 2021

The information contained in this post have been compiled based on frequently asked questions from PCMs this stream 2.

- The Ongoing NYSC online Fresh Registration is only meant for those whose name is on the Senate list and they haven't registered at all before.

- For those who registered fully during the Batch B stream 1 online registration but did not get call up letter, rather they were told by NYSC to await call up letter during STREAM 2, they are not to do any fresh registration or revalidation, all they need to do is wait for their call up letter when printing of call up letter kicks off (NO OFFICIAL DATE ANNOUNCED YET FOR CALL UP LETTER PRINTING).

- For those who registered fully during the Batch B stream 1 online registration and also got call up letter but decided to skip camp, you are supposed to be automatically revalidated by NYSC to get another call up letter this stream 2, if you don't get call up letter then you revalidate next batch. That is to say you are not meant to apply for revalidation because revalidation is done by Batch And not by stream, in other words those who are meant to apply for revalidation this stream 2 via the revalidation link are PCMs from other previous NYSC Batches i.e 2021 Batch A downwards who got call up letter but didn't report to camp. Click Here To Learn More About Revalidation

- For PCMs getting this notification "You are in stream 2. However, your institution have not submitted hard copy, be patient." These set of PCMs are to keep in touch with the SAO's (Student Affairs Officers) of their respective institutions to know when the hardcopy of their Senate List is submitted to NYSC headquarters in Abuja so that that they can proceed for thier online registration. Remember that Prospective Corp Members can only see their name on the NYSC Senate list when the hardcopy of their list is submitted then they will be eligible to register online.

In conclusion, 2021 Batch B stream 2 will comprise of:

  • PCMs from previous batches who revalidated successfully

  • PCMs who were carried over from Batch B stream 1 to Stream 2.

  • PCMs who registered successfully during this stream 2 online registration.

Now the twist is, not everyone will still get call up letter or be posted in this stream 2, some will still be carried over to Next Batch and this is done randomly without any criteria like who registered first.

I hope this information was very helpful, feel free to drop your comments or questions, NYSCBROADCAST replies within 72 hours.

TEN (10) IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO AFTER ORIENTATION CAMP

As the orientation camp is almost over, you’re now free from the early morning hassle, meditation, and strenuous drills. You are on to another phase of the service. This time it’s not about drills but responsibility and the next line of action for your own future. Here are some things you should do after the orientation camp. - Settle down : In your posting letter, it is indicated where your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) is and you must have been conveyed by representatives of the different Local Government Areas where you’re posted to the area. The next thing is to settle down.  There are usually four temporary and permanent accommodations provided by religious bodies such as NCCF, NACC, MCAN and the likes. Some local governments also have Corpers Lodge which you can make use of before you proceed to your PPA. For some, these places eventually become their permanent residence for the service year. - Locate your PPA and NYSC Area or Local Office : Don’t carry your bags and trav...
