NYSC: Latest Information About 2020 Batch B Stream 1a And 1b January Clearance

The NYSC monthly clearance and biometrics is one of the system put in place in the National Youth Service Corp Programme to ascertain or know if already serving corp members are still active or up and doing in their year of service. Without the monthly clearance, certain dividend like the monthly Allowance (Alawee) cannot be obtained by a corp member.

For the NYSC 2020 batch Batch B stream 1A and stream 1B it has not been easy regarding this issue, it has been questions upon questions concerning their January clearance. This is due to the information previously given to them that the January monthly clearance would be automatic as a result of the NYSC body still trying to assess and curtail the COVID-19 second wave for the subsequent stream 2 PCMs that are to enter camp on the 19th

But this hasn't been the case lately as most serving corp members are still seeing absent on their dashboard for the January clearance. Some others have stated that in their individual state they were asked to come for clearance on January regardless of the information given by the National Youth Service Corp about the automated clearance to be done on January.

Most of the corpers who underwent the January monthly clearance based on order in the state they were ordered to do so are already seeing present on their dashboard hence, leaving the majority of corp members panicking, talking about those who still stand firm to the initial information of January clearance being automatic.

Now the good news is that the NYSC body has just released an official statement recently regarding the issue. This update was released on their official social media platforms including facebook which read as follows: "January 2021 Monthly Attendance Clearance" "All 2020 Batch 'B' Streams 1A and 1B Corps members that are concerned that the clearance status on their online dashboard for January 2021 is still showing 'absent' should note that the earlier information on automatic clearance still stands. The clearance status will change at the end of the clearance period on 15th January 2021."

All serving corp members are hereby advised to avoid panic and confusion regarding the January monthly clearance issue.
