NYSC Schedule Dates For 2020 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course

Good news to all PCMs. A circular has been released recently regarding the long awaited NYSC 2020 Batch B stream 2 orientation exercise. 

Sequel to the discussion with Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the Director-General has approved the conduct of the 2021 Batch ‘B' Stream II Orientation Course in all the States/FCT as follows;

1. Commencement: Tuesday 19'" January, 2021 

2. Registration into Camp: Tuesday 19th to Friday 22nd January, 2021 

3. Cut Off Date for registration into camp: Midnight Friday 22nd January, 2021 

4. Swearing in Ceremony: Monday 25th January, 2021 

5. Return of 2020 Batch ‘A' Corpers to Camp: Friday 29th January, 2021

6. Closing date: Monday 8th February, 2021.

From the above dates it can be estimated that printing of call up letter will commence from the 14th or 15th of January (Note that this date is just based on assumption) as call-up letter is usually printed 3 or 4 or maximum of 5 days before camp date. 


The Circular in circulation further stated that; In view of the above, all States/FCT Co-ordinators are requested to carry out thorough decontamination of the camps and also strengthen other preparations to ensure the camp's readiness five (5) days before the commencement date.

For the purpose of emphasis, all COVID-I9 Safety Protocols as observed in the last two (2) orientation exercises are to be sustained and even monitored more closely for strict compliance. Furthermore, States/FCT Coordinators are Equally requested to Liaise with all the relevant stakeholders in the States for deployment of their personnel for the exercise. 

In addition to the aforementioned, you are to please carry out other activities that will facilitate the successful conduct of the orientation course.

2025 Batch C Stream 2 will be automatically exempted from the NERD upload requirement , a new development which was announced few months ago.
